Victoria is the capital city of Canadian province of British Colombia, on the southern tip of Vancouver Island off Canada’s Pacific coast. The city was named for Queen Victoria of the UK, known as “garden city”, popular with tourists, with several major landmarks, such as the parliament building, a botanical garden called Butchart Gardens.
